The shape of shade

From SARMAD

The shape of shade

At SARMAD, the spaces between the rooms matter as much as the rooms themselves.

A deep doorway changes the way a room meets the landscape. The sun reaches the threshold before it reaches the interior, and the transition from open ground to shelter becomes something you can feel.

Our concept pairs low limestone volumes with sheltered outdoor rooms. A place to sit is placed where the light settles; a passage gives a view without making a guest feel on display.

Shade is also an editorial idea. Clear information, quiet materials and room around every gesture let the guest choose what to notice.

How a stay takes shape

1. Choose your space

Courtyard, Ridge or Horizon: compare the room size, guest capacity and kind of privacy you prefer.

2. Give the stay its rhythm

Two, three or five nights. The longer the stay, the more hours you can leave open.

3. Shape a stay outline

Use the local stay planner to combine a room, guests and nights. It creates a personal outline without making a reservation.
